UCFB, a world first in higher education, is delighted to announce a partnership with Manchester City Council that will give students access to its world-class facilities on offer at the Etihad Campus, Europe’s largest concentration of elite sporting venues.
The partnership means students at UCFB, which offers university degrees and executive education in the football, sport and events industries, will be able to utilise facilities such as the Manchester Regional Arena and Indoor Athletics centre, National Squash Centre, Belle Vue Leisure Centre and the National Basketball Performance Centre.
The announcement comes on the back of a partnership launch in October last year which will see the grand opening of the UCFB Etihad Campus in September 2016, with classrooms inside the state-of-the-art Etihad Stadium. UCFB Etihad Campus allows students to live, learn and work in a leading sport environment. The exciting addition of having access to these best-in-class facilities will enrich students’ studies alongside their academic learning.
Following its inception in 2011 at Burnley FC’s Turf Moor, UCFB’s second campus was unveiled inside the iconic Wembley Stadium in 2014.
