When it came to finding the right pathway to working in the game he loves, Piotr only ever considered UCFB. Now that he’s well into his BA (Hons) Stadium & Events Management degree at UCFB Wembley, Piotr has more than justified his decision to leave Poland for London.

Being a huge football fan, Piotr knew straight away when researching his move into higher education that studying at UCFB, within the world famous Wembley Stadium, was the right environment to build the credentials and meet the people who could help build his career.

Since starting his degree in 2014, not only has Piotr benefitted from the unique Complementary Curriculum as a real benefit to his studies, he’s also undertaken vital work experience opportunities, something UCFB actively encourages students to do during their time at the institution.

Most notably, Piotr joined MPs and renowned sport industry figures, including former Burnley FC captain and UCFB Tutorial Coordinator Clarke Carlisle, in Westminster for the launch of a new campaign to raise awareness of football-related social media discrimination called Klick it Out.

Piotr’s role during the campaign was to support Klick It Out in the challenge to counter football-related hate speech on social media, by monitoring the platforms during peak times when England were playing during Euro 2016 in France.

Coming from Europe, Piotr initially relied on UCFB staff to help him with finance and social events, something he says he found extremely helpful and valuable.

“I only looked at UCFB as a place to study. Wembley Stadium is a brilliant environment, and London is a great place to live and hang out.”
