UCFB/GIS alumni may book study space by contacting the library team at either campus and may consult UCFB Library print resources when on-site.

Pastoral alumni service

The pastoral alumni service provides advice and guidance for students for up to 12 months after leaving UCFB, as well as providing intermediary support for those students who have decided to suspend their studies but are planning to return to UCFB. This service allows for a transition period for students to change support services as it is difficult to effectively manage this transition at the end of the third year study due to exam/coursework pressures.

In addition, students can benefit from extended access to the careers service and activities, alumni student events and support moving into the world of work for students with additional needs. This service can be accessed face-to-face, over email and over the telephone.

Careers team

We all know that looking for a full-time job is like a full-time job in itself. With the fact that job seeking is becoming increasingly more competitive, we try to help make the transition from full-time studies to employment as smooth as possible. Our alumni can continue to access career services when seeking advice on CVs, cover letters, interview techniques and more.

To enquire about any of the above please email alumni@ucfb.com with your full name, email, year of graduation and the benefit that you are interested in.
